Low on funds?

We may be able to help. But please read the following first:

We understand that some people or churches may not be able to afford purchasing books, and therefore, we want to help if we can. We consider M.E.S.S.Y. DISCIPLES a ministry, and not a business, and because we want to see M.E.S.S.Y. implemented in as many churches as possible, we choose to make a supply of books available for free to those who cannot afford them.

We understand that some people may see our books as costly, and would prefer to receive the books for free. However, we see the cost you pay for M.E.S.S.Y. to be more of an investment in your spirituality and discipleship, and we believe there is no more worthy of an investment.

Many of us have subscriptions we pay on a monthly basis for things like YouTube, Netflix, Disney+, etc., which may cost $15-$20 per month. These subscriptions do nothing to grow our discipleship or help us stay focused on God, but we see them as worthy uses of our money.

The cost of M.E.S.S.Y. over the same period is much less, as each book lasts a minimum of 3 months if you journal every day. But if you are like the typical user, you will only journal every other day on average, which would mean each book lasts you 6 months. Over that same period, you may spend $90 or more on a single entertainment subscription like Netflix.

Also, keep in mind that the M.E.S.S.Y. SMALL GROUPS WORKBOOK will last you much longer than the journal will, and if you choose to meet once a month for your small group, each workbook will last you nearly 2 years.

Our books may seem costly, but making them available to you is expensive. When factoring in all the costs, including paper, ink, coils, covers, printer maintenance, wristband manufacturing, packaging, e-commerce and web hosting fees, shipping, and the cost of our time for marketing, manufacturing, and one-on-one training and small group orientations, the cost to make one book is roughly $19. That leaves a very little profit that we can put back into the ministry to provide free books for people who cannot afford them.

With all that being said, you can understand why we ask that if you are able to afford the price, or even if you are able to make a small sacrifice by cutting out another subscription that you do not need (like Netflix, for example), that you pay for the books in order to help those who truly cannot.

If you have thought about these things, and realize that you are truly unable to afford the books, we still want you to be involved in M.E.S.S.Y. and we will do everything we can to get you the books you need. Please fill out the form below and we will add you to our waitlist if your need is valid.
